Do you only handle WordPress websites?

Yes. We believe the old adage: Jack of all trades, master of none. We’d rather be WordPress masters than simply operate with mediocrity on several platforms. We’ve dedicated all our time to learning how to care for WordPress websites so our clients get the most value out of their Care Plans.

Is There a Contract of Minimum Term for Care Plans?

Nope! Our WordPress Care Plan clients typically stay with us long-term, but we don’t tie them down with contracts. We’d like to keep you on board by providing continuous value rather than by using a legal obligation written into a contract.

Why Do You Perform Theme/Plugin Updates Weekly?

Here are a few reasons for that:

  • Sometimes plugin updates have bugs. We’ve seen that having scheduled weekly theme/plugin updates instead of instantly pushing them decreases the likelihood of an update creating issues before the plugin developer has a chance to sort out the kinks of new updates.
  • Updating themes and plugins in batches means we can dedicate more time to manually reviewing your website to ensure there are no issues. We don’t want to short change you or rush through the work we do on your website. That could cause us to miss errors or bugs that might affect your website and your business. We’d much rather be able to dedicate the time necessary to make sure the updates were successful and issue-free.
  • We perform updates on the weekends when websites typically have less traffic. This reduces the chance that an issue with an update will affect your business before we can get it resolved.

The exception to this schedule would be major updates, such as with WooCommerce. We will usually let major updates wait until we can ensure they will not affect your website’s operation. We want smooth sailing for our clients!

How Long Does it Take to Complete Edit/Support Requests?

Dynamic Plan

Our support staff will typically email you within 2-3 hours of your support request to let you know we’ve received your request and are working on it. Most single-request tickets are resolved within 24 hours, though often they are much quicker. It can sometimes take a little longer for multiple-request tickets or complex requests.

Robust and Tower Plans

If you’ve signed up for our Robust or Tower Plans, you get priority support. Most priority tickets are completed within 3-6 hours.
